North East Corner
Just for Fun, a group of Knobbies are going to all four corners of North Carolina.
This is the picture of the North East Corner and  some Knobbies that found it.






These are some pictures Dave took last Sunday (3-25-07) when 17 bikes, 19 people, rode to the southwest corner of the state.

Just got this email from Crystal about Northeast Corner.



Hey there!! Jerry, Truman and I went to the Northeast corner over July 4th.  If possible I would like for you to send the Knobbies an email concerning directions.  We would have never found the corner by using the 4 corner handout.  If it hadn't been for the directions I got from Danny Wilson previously, I would have never found it. 
This may help others:
* Currituck to Knotts Island Ferry-ferry schedule can be found by looking at       NC Ferry schedule.
* After exiting the Ferry keep straight until stop sign.
* Turn left.
* Look for an old church on left-turn in front of church.
* Sorry I do not have road name- but I do believe it has a highway sign-not        positive.

* Go to next stop sign (a store will be on right)
* Turn Left.
* Not far in a curve there is a fork take right this is Rd 1255.
* If you come to a stop light - turn around you missed the right
* Then you will come upon the "welcome to Virginia Beach" sign
* Marker is on the left side of the road

I apologize for not remembering more of the specifics-but hopefully it will help others.
